GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These Terms & Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made on the Dorelia website (the “Site”). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1) Seller / Scope
These Terms govern the sale of products offered on the Site to consumers who have full legal capacity.
Product information: Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided in good faith. Some information may come from suppliers. Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings.
Manufacturer: The Site is not necessarily the manufacturer of the goods sold.
If the product you receive does not match your order or arrives damaged/defective, please contact us and refer to our Refund & Returns Policy below.
2) Steps to Place an Order (Online Contract Formation)
2.1 Ordering

Browse the Site and add items to your cart by clicking “Add to cart.”

You may review and edit your cart at any time.

To complete your purchase, proceed to checkout.
2.2 Review & Acceptance
Before placing your order, you must verify the information you provide (especially shipping address, phone number, access code/buzzer, etc.).
You will have an opportunity to review the order summary and correct errors before submitting payment.
2.3 Order Confirmation
After payment authorization, you will receive an on-screen confirmation and an email confirming that your order has been received. This does not always mean your order has shipped.
2.4 Order Limits / Availability
If there is a risk related to product availability, we reserve the right to refuse or limit orders of the same product above certain quantities (e.g., unusually high bulk orders).
2.5 Correcting Errors After Purchase
If you discover an error after placing your order (e.g., address mistake), contact us as soon as possible via the Contact Us page.
3) Contract Records / Access
We keep records of orders and invoices on a reliable and durable medium. You may request access to your order documents by contacting support.
4) Pricing, Currency & Taxes

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.

Applicable taxes may be charged based on your shipping destination (e.g., GST/HST/PST/QST), as required by law.

If you order from outside Canada, you may be responsible for duties, import taxes, or customs fees imposed by your country.
5) Payment Methods & Security
We accept secure payment methods such as credit/debit cards and other checkout options displayed on the Site.
Payments are processed using secure payment providers (e.g., Shopify/Stripe/PayPal, depending on what you enable). We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We use security measures such as SSL encryption.
6) Shipping & Delivery
6.1 Shipping Address
We ship to the address entered at checkout. Please ensure your address is complete and accurate.
6.2 Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 48 hours (business days), excluding weekends and holidays.
6.3 Delivery Time
Typical delivery time is 5–10 business days (Mon–Fri), depending on destination and carrier operations. Delays can occur during peak periods.
6.4 Tracking
Where tracking is available, you will receive tracking details by email. Tracking may take a few days to appear after dispatch.
6.5 Delivery Issues
We are not responsible for delivery failure caused by an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.
If your parcel is held by a carrier or pickup point, please follow carrier instructions. Unclaimed parcels may be returned to sender; re-shipping may require an additional fee.
7) Returns, Refunds & Cancellations (Canada)
7.1 Our Store Policy (Change-of-mind)
Our standard return/refund policy is 30 days from the date of delivery, subject to the conditions in the Refund & Returns Policy section below.
7.2 Statutory Consumer Rights (Important)
Canadian consumer protection rules vary by province/territory, and certain cancellation rights may apply in specific situations (for example, rules for “internet agreements” in Ontario when required disclosures were not properly provided). Ontario+1
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
7.3 Two-hour Cancellation Window (Before Shipping)
If you contact us within 2 hours of placing your order, we will do our best to cancel it before it ships. Once the order has been handed to the carrier, cancellation is no longer possible and you must follow the returns process after delivery.
8) Warranty / Legal Guarantees (Canada)
8.1 Our Commercial Warranty (If Offered)
If Dorelia advertises a specific warranty (e.g., 6 months), it applies as described on the product page and/or in your confirmation email, and covers manufacturing defects under normal use and proper care.
8.2 Implied Warranties / Statutory Rights
In Canada, consumers may benefit from implied warranties/conditions under provincial/territorial laws (and additional rules may apply for Québec consumers). These statutory protections may provide remedies if goods are defective or not as described, and they apply in addition to any commercial warranty we offer.
9) Limitation of Liability
We will do our best to provide a smooth shopping experience. However, we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., carrier disruptions, severe weather, force majeure).
This clause does not affect rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
10) Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the laws of the province/territory where Dorelia is established (as indicated on the Site/Contact page), without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If you are a consumer in Québec, mandatory Québec consumer law provisions may also apply.
